Join us for our ninth annual ride — this one to celebrate the installation of the Bloor Street Bike Lanes! We will follow the bike lane pilot along Bloor, then go to Sherbourne, south on Sherbourne, west on Wellesley, north on Queen’s Park Crescent, and back to Christie Pits along Bloor.
Fun for the whole family. There will be police escort. Free bells will be provided to the riders.
Stick around after for food, drink, and the Lemon Bucket Orkestra — part of David Suzuki Foundation’s Christie Crawlfest.
There will also be two feeder rides to Bells on Bloor.
From High Park: Meet at Bloor and High Park Ave for an informal group ride to Christie Pits for the start of Bells on Bloor 2016. Meet around 10, and we will start riding at 10:15. There will be ride marshalls, but no police escort. Bells on Bloor will have police escort. Invite your friends!
From Scarborough: 10am departure from AccessPoint on Danforth. Join Scarborough Cycles as we ride to Christie Pits Park which is the start of the 9th Annual Bells on Bloor bike ride. As an alternative, East Side cyclists are invited to meet at the northeast corner of Danforth & Logan (Alexander the Great Parkette) to join in on the AccessPoint-Danforth Group Ride.
The Logan group will meet up with the Scarborough Ride and depart from Danforth/Logan at approximately 10:20am.
10:00am – Rally at Danforth/Logan (Alexander the Great Parkette);
10:20am – Depart Danforth/Logan ride west to Christie Pits Park;
11:00am – Bells on Bloor – Victory Lap.
The AccessPoint-Danforth Group Ride is a 12km long, non-police-escorted ride to Bells on Bloor start point at Christie Pits Park.
