Stop The Killing Of Cyclists – Die-In and Vigil at Transport for London

Stop The Killing Of Cyclists – Die-In and Vigil at Transport for London headquarters attracted more than 1000 cyclists on Nov. 29, 2013. Well done.

According to this story from the Guardian, people were upset about the six cyclists who had died just in the first part of November, with many of the collisions involving heavy transport trucks. Many are calling for better cycling infrastructure.

Here in Toronto, we’ve had four cyclists killed by cars this year, with three just in the last four months (and one just this past weekend). For some reports on the memorial rides organized by ARC go here.
